After studying fine arts, Cyrille Bartolini worked in illustration and packaging while continuing his activities as a painter. In his experience designing packaging, he sometimes observed a gap or disappointment: something was getting lost along the way from the work of the creative people through to that of the industrialists.

The idea of setting up his own studio to fill that gap took shape little by little, culminating in the creation of the Atelier in 1999 with three people, three manual reproduction proof presses and a gilding machine. His initial intuition was to be proved right. Over time, Cyrille has built up a team of complementary professionals from industry, photo-engraving and fine arts, while extending and diversifying his fleet of machinery.

Today, he is at the centre of a team of 12 people, providing his expertise, keeping up the most demanding standards and setting the course for their work.
